Maybe there’s a reason why neoliberal Labor governments have felt safe to abandon Gonski reforms huh AEU. Is holding your tongue on Laborism and middle-class co-option part of the problem you reckon? Still on that upward mobility bandwagon, taking ruling class bribes and trying to have things both ways in lieu of rising above laborism and embracing principled, antihegemonic class struggle, are we? Nominal teaching professionals are as socially nasty as the rest of the middle class and yet somehow surprised that we’re being stabbed in the back.
